Welcome to aCoach.org (“aCoach,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). aCoach.org is operated by Advocacy Coach Inc, a California nonprofit organization. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, dashboards, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.
1. Services Provided
aCoach.org offers technology tools that combine AI-driven guidance with human support to assist community-based organizations (“CBOs”), individuals and similar entities in planning and managing advocacy campaigns. Features may include:

2. Eligibility
The Services are intended for use by adults affiliated with CBOs, public agencies, educational institutions, and similar organizations. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to act on behalf of your organization.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To access certain features, you may be required to register and provide your name, email, organizational affiliation, and other information.

You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Data and Privacy
We collect limited personal information (name, email, organizational affiliation, advocacy issues, and related health concerns you choose to disclose). We do not intentionally collect sensitive health, financial, or minors’ data.

5. Informational Purposes Only – No Legal Advice
The Services, including AI-generated content and human guidance, are provided for informational and educational purposes only. aCoach does not provide legal advice, medical advice, or professional services. You are solely responsible for how you use the information provided. Consult a qualified professional for legal or medical matters.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

Use the Services for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

Misrepresent your affiliation with any organization.

Upload or transmit harmful code, spam, or disruptive content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, text, graphics, and other materials available through the Services are owned by or licensed to aCoach and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Services only for their intended purpose and may not copy, distribute, or modify any materials without prior written consent.

aCoach disclaims all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

If liability cannot be disclaimed, it is limited to $100 or the amount you paid to use the Services (whichever is less).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless aCoach, its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” above will indicate the most recent version. Continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
